If you are a student (or parent), we hope you enjoyed your summer because school is starting soon! August the 24th, 2009 is the first day of school for students in Polk County. We are looking forward to a great school year.
Make sure you are ready! Check the Code of Student Conduct for any changes. Make sure your shots are up to date. Oh yeah, make sure those new school clothes meet the required dress code standards!
If you need to enroll in school, re-enroll, or transfer to another school, it’s much easier to begin now and not wait until the first day of school. You can find the process and forms to this here. You may find updated information at your child’s school website.
